Mummy Daddy
We were in our twenties for sure. Dad had laid down in the front room on Nicholas and fallen asleep and we covered him with a blanket and tucked it in on the sides and put arm rest covers from the couch on his head so he looked like a mummy. And we called him Mummy Daddy.
"Em, look! I'm peeing!"
Standing on the new wooden kitchen floor Dad had just put in, E was doing something ridiculous and making F laugh so hard that she wet her pants...and said this quote. Both of us lost it. E was awesome and took care of the clean-up. Let's not say how old we were.

"We Cow"
This one included Sammy. The three of us were bundled up in Sam's bed (on Grover) and we had spread his black spotted cow print blanket over us. We thought we probably looked like a three-headed cow and called ourselves "we cow."

"Curly hair on chicks ROCKS!"
This was yelled by a guy on the sidewalk as the two of us were driving down the street with the windows down. We were so happy! Well, I was.

"My socks were pleased off!"
One late night in Santa Fe, Em, talking about something that made her really happy.
"The finest salmon from the best sea!"
Early morning in Santa Fe, making fun of catfood commercials and their snobby cats. From her cozy sunken place in the air mattress, half-asleep Francey piped up with this line.
Then Jonathan said something like, "It's not from the Baltic? Take it away."

Til The Cows Do Their Thing
I can't remember what it was that I (Em) was talking about, but I was explaining how some event had taken much too long, and in the middle of this cliche I realized I couldn't remember the rest of it.

See-through mice
"This coffee tastes like one of those see-through mice drowned in it!" - Francey
This one followed a quote of mine that the huge vein that pops out on my forehead when I laugh makes me look like one of those see-through mice.

Husband Storage
I can't remember the quote, unless it was simply "Husband Storage." Remember those reading pillows with arms that fit up in that space in the basement ceiling? We were so tickled to find out those things were called husbands.

Our Funny Mother
Francey was with Mom in TX, Em was on the phone with Mom - Em heard Francey get stung by a scorpion in the background, and immediately Mom says, "Ooo! What does it feel like?!"
